What is a Fotona 4D treatment like?
Once your customized treatment plan is decided by your practitioner, the treatment will involve several different treatment phases, each targeting a specific skin deficit. Your practitioner will guide you through each phase so you will be informed each step of the way. For the most part the procedure is very tolerable. You will feel slight warmth during the treatment and numbing cream may be applied before the resurfacing step.
How safe is Fotona 4D?
The lasers used in Fotona 4D are safe in most skin types. We recommend avoiding sun exposure for 2 weeks prior to the procedure, and avoid using skin care products with active ingredients 24 hours before the procedure.
What is a deep fractional treatment like?
Deep fractional treatment requires topical anesthetic. Most patients tolerate the procedure very well. The procedure will last approximately 30 minutes. It involves two steps – a deep fractional treatment followed by a superficial laser peel.
How long does deep fractional treatment last for?
The effects of this procedure are quite transformative. As with any skin procedure, the duration of effects of this procedure will depend on proper skin maintenance. On average, the effects can last 3-5 years.
